Why “Overflowing Life”?
Overflowing life is when a person is fulfilled both internally (joy & peace) and externally (protection, security & provision). These privileges are integral to God’s original plan (package) for mankind. We lost it when Adam & Eve disobeyed God and sinned in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3). However, God’s plan had not failed because He had already provided for someone to come and redeem us and restore us to the Kingdom. His name is Jesus the Christ, the Saviour of the world.
When we regain our Kingdom position through Jesus Christ, the benefits are restored in full, and our lives become an OVERFLOW of God’s goodness. Thus, we now have the privilege to embrace this Kingdom life according to God’s original plan. Here is just a glimpse of what rightly belongs to you and the people around you:
- Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them. And God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth." (ESV)
- Isaiah 43:18-19 Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall sprout; shall you not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, rivers in the desert.
- Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall confute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD and their vindication from me, declares the LORD. (ESV)
- John 15:16 You did not choose me; I chose you and appointed you to go and bear much fruit, the kind of fruit that endures. And so the Father will give you whatever you ask of him in my name. (Good News Bible)
- Ephesians 3:20 Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]—(Amplified Bible)
- 3John 1:2 Beloved, in regard to all things I pray that you prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers. (ESV)
- Jude 1:2 Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance. (NIV)
