Stage 4: RELEASE

Release follows empowerment. The person is born again, has received inner healing and is stable. He heard the word & accepted it; seizes the Word and holds on to it no matter what, sticking with it until there is a harvest. He has the patience necessary for fruit bearing and is in a position to multiply and bring abundance. The person is ready to overflow and nothing should stand in his/her way any longer.

In relation to the parable of the sower (Mark 4:1-20), this is a similar condition to a plant growing in good soil, and is capable of producing up to a hundredfold.

The person at this stage often says "I must be....".

The Potential of the word: Multiplication; to bring forth a "forest" out of a seed.

The Principle is: RELEASE

Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance; the ends of the earth your possession. (Psalm 2:8)

We release believers to serve according to their gifts and calling in life. Believers ought to inherit the nations and possess the ends of the earth for Jesus....we call it Vision Overflow!


Our OLM response

At this stage the participants are "ready" to be RELEASED to do great exploits. They have gone a long way in experienced inner healing and emotional stability; hopefully they are already operating in the gifts and serving in the church.   This requires prophetic and apostolic ministry to bring about the release.

1. Greater works weekend: The greater works weekend is very similar to the empowerment weekend. The major difference is that the focus is on commissioning. As such the teachings are releasing and designed to create a passion for greater works, specifically Kingdom mentality.

2. Commissioned to serve: Believers should live and function as ambassadors for Christ; it is a great privilege. They are envisioned to take advantage of every opportunity wherever they are, and establish the Kingdom of God. Essentially, this part involves dealing with the basics but essentials of leadership: Disciples who shape the future:

We place great emphasis on pioneer mentality. It is important to develop disciples who have a pioneer mentality. This is not limited to church planting, but it helps believers to do pioneering work even in their areas of profession. We believe it is time that believers realise that the same anointing that works miracles in a “church setting” is available for use in their everyday life. We are here to release believers to do greater works in every area of life. Believers are called to be the head, not the tail; to be above and not beneath. Jesus has anointed his church for greater works! Truly we shall overflow.

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen. (Ephesians 3:20-21, ESV)

Thereafter believers are expected and helped to take their disciples along the BASELINE, and enjoy the benefit of being fruitful.
