People Development (discipleship) at OLM

We value and respect people because they are special in the eyes of God. We recognize the individuality of people and how God's purposes are intertwined with the different personalities. Accordingly, we seek to help people be released and maximized in their purposes.

In addition to the usual levels of ministry, we encourage people to be involved in a personalised development strategy called BASELINE. Our prayer is that everybody who makes OLM their spiritual home should walk along the BASELINE.

BASELINE

BASELINE is built around and designed to meet the needs of people on a personal level. We have structured teaching/discussion group sessions where participants receive the ministry of the five fold ministries (Ephesians 4:11): apostles, prophets, evangelists, teachers and pastors. The aim of these interactive sessions is for every member to understand and achieve the desirable biblical standard of maturity outlined in Ephesians 4:11-16. The strategy is designed not only to prepare us for heaven when we die, but to empower participants to be champions and pioneers in their professions and everyday life. In line with our vision, BASELINE has four stages:

Stage 1 - WIN  ||  Stage 2 - RESTORE  ||  Stage 3 - EMPOWER  ||  Stage 4 - RELEASE

The stages represent the development stages of an individual from being barren soil to being good soil capable of producing 100-fold harvest (Mark 4:1-20). The stages are considered cyclic, with each cycle taking the individual to a deeper level of intimacy with God and discovery/fulfilment of one's purpose.
