OLM Pastors
Margie and Kudzi Mawire lived in Trondheim, Norway as students but doing missionary work for 7.5 years (1998-2006), the last 4 years as pastors at Betel Pentecostal Church, Trondheim. While with Betel church Trondheim, they co-pioneered an international congregation, which grew to having over 40 nationalities represented in the weekly Sunday services. The growth of the work led to the planting of two branch churches in the region in Norway.
Before moving to Norway in 1998, Margie and Kudzi were part of a team which pioneered the planting of Restoration Centre in Zimbabwe, a member of the Faith Ministries, Zimbabwe. (1993-1998). Faith Ministries, Zimbabwe is a member of Salt and Light. The congregation later grew to over 600 members and planted branch churches.
They were active members of Kensington Temple, London during the period 1991-1992. Margie was a member of Calvary International, Manchester from 1992-1993.
They relocated to Sheffield (2006) to work take up professional jobs. However, the relocation is a Divine initiative to re-position them alongside other believers, and together mobilize people for greater works. They believe in team ministry, where everybody is equipped and released to serve according to their respective purpose. Accordingly, they envision a strong team-based church, where everybody uses their respective gifting to positively contribute to the community and to Eternity.
