Statement of Faith
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and is God. He was born of Mary the virgin.  Though He was tempted in every way, He lived a sinless life. He died the death of the cross on our behalf, in order to reconcile man with God. He rose from the dead on the third day and He ascended to Heaven, where He is seated at the right hand of the Father.  He will come back to earth to take those who have been washed by His blood. Those who die in Christ shall resurrect to eternal life, while unbelievers will be condemned to eternal punishment.

We believe in the following:

The Bible
The BIBLE (The Old and New Testament, excluding the Apocrypha) is the infallible, inspired Word of God. It is our basis of faith and life.  Everything has to be tried and tested by its authority. (2Timothy 3:16; Galatians 1:8)

Trinity
The Biblical revelation of God as the Holy Trinity: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ) and God the Holy Spirit. The three distinguishable persons are one indivisible God.  (1John 5:7 KJV; John 10:30; John 17:22)

Repentance
Everybody has sinned against God and must repent. True repentance is evidenced in a change of mind, a breakaway from sin and worldly lifestyle. (Romans 3:23; 1John 1:8; Matthew 3:8; Ephesians 2:10; Ephesians 5:1-12)

Salvation
Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and NOT by works. Jesus Christ the Son of God is our redeemer and the ONLY mediator between men and God. (Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 5:10; John 3:16; Acts 2:21; Acts 4:12; Romans 10:9-11)

Sanctification
When a repenting sinner is made righteous, a Divine and progressive sanctification takes place in the believer. We call it spiritual growth (Philippians 1:6; 3John 1:2; Ephesians 4:13; Philippians 1:9; Colossians 1:9-10)

Divine Healing
We believe in Divine Healing of the total man (spirit, soul and body). (1Peter 2:24; Mark 16:16; James 5:14; Isaiah 53:5; 1Thessalonians 5:23-24)

Water Baptism
Water baptism is a public declaration of one’s faith in Jesus Christ. It is symbolic of what Jesus Christ went through for our sake: death, burial and resurrection. It is also a “burial ceremony” of the old sinful man that was crucified with Christ on the day a person accepted Christ as Lord and Saviour. Therefore, water baptism is by full immersion of the body (to completely cover the body in water) to symbolise burial. The coming out of the water is symbolic of a “resurrection” to the newness of life (now) and a prophetic declaration of the end-time resurrection. We baptise in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, in accordance with the Great Commission. (Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12; Acts 8:38-39)

Holy Communion
Holy Communion is central to believer’s life as it is in remembrance of the redemptive death of Jesus Christ (1Corinthians 11:23-27; Acts 2:46)

Holy Spirit Baptism
Every believer can experience the Father’s promise of baptism in the Holy Spirit as did the First Christians in the early church, with speaking in tongues as the first evidence of the baptism. (John 7:39-29; Acts 1:8; Acts 10:44-46; Acts19:6)

Gifts of the Holy Spirit
The gifts of the Holy Spirit operate today as they manifested in the early church. (1Corinthians 12:1-12)

Tithing
We believe in tithing and that God will bless and prosper us as we give generously. Jesus came to give us overflowing life. (John 10:10b; Deuteronomy 15:10; Malachi 3:10; 2 Corinthians 9:8; Galatians 6:6; Luke 6:38)

The Church
The local church is part of God’s redemption plan. It should be organised as presented in the New Testament. It is the local expression of the universal church, which comprises of all genuine believers. (1Corinthians 12:12-27; 1Corinthians 1:2; Colossians 4:15; Philemon 1:2; 1Thessalonians 1:1; Revelations 2:8, 12, 18; Revelations 3:1 and 7)

Heaven and Hell
The existence of Heaven, God’s dwelling place and hell, a place reserved for Satan the fallen angels and any person who dies without having accepted Christ as Lord and Saviour (John 14:1-4, Revelations 20:11-15, Revelations 21:23-27)

A New Earth
The Lord’s original plan in creation has not changed. His plan is to give the earth to His children, (those who are lead by the Spirit of God, Romans 8:14), as an inheritance. Thus, all born again believers are ambassadors (representatives) of the Kingdom of God and have the Kingdom mandate to execute and extend Kingdom dominion in their spheres of influence. (Genesis 1:28, Psalm 2:8, Psalm 115:16)
